The idea of creating a scientific society especially dedicated to forensic isotopes was born in May 2019, during theInterForensics Conference 2019, in Sao Paulo city. In 2019 the 1stNational WorkshopaboutForensic Isotopesin the Auditorium ofNational Institute of Criminalistics of the Federal Police, consolidating this important institutional partnership. Since then the Workshop has become an annual event of theReNIF, always very successful with the public and with qualified programming, including as speakers great names of national and international isotopic science. In addition to the Workshops, theReNIFpromotes theIsotopic Encountersand courses, as well as helping to publicize events at partner laboratories and institutions.
